Enjoy the silence

Sorry: i didn't post anything here for a long time. I have been working on two new projects and i'm taking a rest from developing Knack.
The new projects are:
  1. A little secure-p2p app that probably I'll never release cause I don't want to have any legal problems.
  2. A nice small app to automatically resize and upload photos to an FTP, including XML metadata and thumbnails. The interface is clean and user friendly: you only have to drag&drop the photos and enter the metadata. Probably I'll release this one but now it's not customizable yet (works only with my site).

Don't worry: I'll be back working on Knack after my next exam!

Go on, release the peer to peer software, lets give metallica a run for their money. If you make it open source you can claim limited liabilities.... After all, it's the music industry thats threatened by peer to peer, not the musicians. In fact, Peer to Peer is the best way for any musician to become known. And once they're well known, then people want good quality originals. Well, thats how i work anyway..

Well, all im saying is that, in an ideal world, legal issues should be the least of your worries. The important thing is that people are able to commuicate (and share files) confidentially and securly... thats what is important about peer to peer.

I think the same, but sadly we are so far from that ideal world :(
Anyway it's just a Waste client and it's not fully working yet (at the moment it can be used only to chat over a waste network) i did it because there's not a linux Waste client (mine works well with Mono). If/when it will be working a little better maybe I will consider to release it as GPL
